Nobody celebrates New Year quite like the Scots, and Edinburgh's Hogmanay is the mother of all New Year celebrations.

The Torchlight Procession

The festival kicks off on December 30th with the spectacular Torchlight Procession, creating a river of fire down the Royal Mile and concluding with a massive bonfire.

The Street Party

On the 31st, Princes Street is closed to traffic and transformed into one of the world's biggest outdoor parties, featuring live bands, DJs, and the legendary midnight fireworks over Edinburgh Castle, set to the traditional singing of Auld Lang Syne.
